Ready with the evening routine for oily skin, if you have not checked out the morning routine for oily skin types you should go check that out as well. I will, later on, be posting routines for the other skin types as well. As I mentioned in the morning routine it can be hard for people with oily skin to find a routine that works for them, so I am here to help out with that.
1. First cleans.
So, this will be the same no matter which skin type you have, you have to first cleanser your face with and oil or a balm cleanser, just to make sure you get off all of the oil, makeup, excess sebum, and sunscreen, so it does not clog your pores. I know if you have oily skin an oil cleanser sounds scary, but just keep reading.
2. Second cleans.
Here you just use the same cleanser you use in the morning; you do this to make sure the oil or balm cleanser is not sitting and clogging your pores.
3. Exfoliation.
As said, you can also choose to exfoliate in the evening instead of the daytime, personally I prefer doing it in the evening. Remember only 1-2 times a week
4. Mask.
Choose a mask which is targeted towards your specific skin concerns, there is a mask for all kinds of skin concerns so just pick the one for you, I do however recommend the mugwort mask from I´m from, it is great for all skin types but I do think it would work super well for oily skin.
5. Essence.
Again, just use the same essence as you use in the daytime, as I mentioned in the morning routine an essence is not necessary but it is a great extra step.
6. Moisturizer (and eye cream)
In the nighttime, I would choose something a bit heavier than a gel moisturizer, and again the eye cream is not something you need but I think for oily skin it can be practical to have it, but eye cream is just a moisturizer.
7. Lip balm.
Use a nice and thick one for the night, keep your lips hydrated! They are also important
