If you have suffered from acne or still suffer with it, you know the struggle of it, I personally suffered from acne for years and year, however, I finally cleared my skin, so here is what I did to clear my skin, it is all just small changes you can make which might cause big changes in your skin.
1. Change your pillowcase every day, I know this sounds ridiculous, but I started changing my pillowcase every single day and it truly changed my skin a lot as to before where I only changed it once a week. I started changing it every day because I noticed my acne was very much focused on one side of my face and it was the one I slept on, so I put two and two together and figured that it could be my pillowcase because a lot of dirt builds up on that thing. Since I do not wash every day, I just bought a few extra pillowcases, so I had one for every day in the week.
2. So, this is one I have never tested myself since I have never really done it. But it is don´t put your phone to your face when you are calling with someone, since a lot of bacteria and dirt are built up on your phone, use earphones when you call with someone, that is what I have always done.
3. Double cleanse your face even if you don´t wear makeup, I always double cleanse, but back in time I didn´t, but double cleansing will truly change your skin since you will be able to get all of the dirt from the day off and you will be sure that all of your sunscreen is washed off and don´t just sit on your face and clogs your pores. When you double cleanse be sure to first use an oil-based cleanser and after that, I would recommend a gel cleanser. It is important that the oil-based cleanser is first because you don´t want that to stay on your face and clog your pores. I also recommend washing your face for around 1 minute, nothing more than that because if you do it longer you will end up stripping your skin.
4. If you have oily skin be sure you moisturize because stripping your skin will just create more sebum.
5. Wear SPF every single day, and don´t wear an SPF under 30, I personally wear a 50 since my skin gets burned easily. However, SPF can actually really help with your acne and acne scars, because the sun irritates your skin and therefore will make your acne more inflamed than it maybe already is, also on top of that SPF is the best way to prevent wrinkles.
