So you are here because you think you might have dehydrated skin, you may be already read my post about dehydrated skin, if you have not read it I will advise you to read that first just so you truly understand what might have caused your skin to become dehydrated. I personally have had dehydrated skin before as well, and it took me a long time to fix it, but here are some tips which helped me with treating my skin when it was dehydrated.
1. Go back to basics, something in your routine has made your skin dehydrated so it will be good to go back to the basics for maybe a few weeks for even a month.
2. Put your exfoliator away for a while, it is most likely over-exfoliating which has caused your skin to become dehydrated, so while you fix your barrier you need to put it away for a month or so, once you are ready to use it again, remember to only use it 1-2 a week.
3. Don´t dry your face with a towel after cleansing, let it air dry since the towel does slightly exfoliate your skin and it can be irritating to your skin as well.
4. When you wash your face apply your skincare before your face is completely dry.
5. Ceramides are your friend, they repair your moisture barrier and will help heal your skin easier.
