Let´s talk about hair masks

 Why should you use a hair mask? So, I have for years been on and off on using hair masks, it is first now I truly committed to using them I will also show you which one I use and give you a minor review of it.

What is a hair mask? A hair mask is a special treatment that has been formulated with a high concentration of hydrating ingredients, including natural oils and butter. Unlike shampoo and a conditioner, both of which only coat the surface of your hair strands and are washed away after a short period of time, a hair mask is designed to remain on the hair for longer. This gives all of the hydrating ingredients enough time to penetrate into the hair shaft resulting in great improvements. So, no matter how much you try to protect and care for your hair it still is inevitable for your hair to get some damage which comes from several factors, such as:

•  Sun exposure
• Heat styling 
• Coloring, highlighting, and bleaching 
• Tight ponytails and braids 
• Air pollution 
• Chemicals in water 
• Changes in air humidity 
• Cold or dry air 
• Strong winds

 Your hair we made up of 3 layers, when the outer layer is damaged it will leave the inner layer exposed and vulnerable, resulting in dryness and fizziness, which means a lack of bounciness and shine, so your hair will look dull and boring. A hair mask can prevent your hair from this happening.  

Here I will tell you a bit about the hair mask I use and my experience with it.

I use the HairLust hair growth and protection hair mask, it contains 200 ml, it is moisturizing and repairing, I really do feel and see a big difference in my hair, it looks and feels a lot healthier than before I used it, but it would be like that with many hair masks, this just happens to be the one I use. Anyhow this mask is vegan and cruelty-free, it contains vegan micro-proteins and organic plant extracts, such as Aloe very, Acai, and oatmeal which works very well for damaged hair. It helps to strengthen and nourishing the hair while it also protects your hair from future damage, so that is a lot of claims for this product, but to be honest, a lot of them has proven to be true to me, I don´t know about the long term protection part, because I have not been using it that long, I have used it for almost 2 months now, I think I need a bit more time.
