In June I bought this mugwort cream since I knew it would be perfect for acne-prone skin, I also did know it was more minded for oily skin in the wintertime, but I thought it would be fine for me in the summertime since if you have oily skin you do want to use something a bit more heavy than a gel moisturizer for the winter. Now let´s get more into the things I loved and the things that did not work for me and why I think it would work super well for oily skin.
First things first, I truly did love this cream in the beginning and it seemed to be fine for me for around 2 month, but suddenly due to climate changes my skin got super dry and this cream was not enough anymore, I had to go to the pharmacy to buy an emergency cerave moisturizer to fix my dry skin until I could get my favorite moisturizer from soon jung. Somehow it was really calming and soothing to my skin, it did not irritate my highly sensitive skin at all, so that was great.
This cream contains 73.55% Mugwort extract to soothe and calm irritated skin, mugwort extract is also known to clear skin. It absorbs into the skin super quickly and it does not leave skin tacky at all, which is also why I truly think this cream would be perfect for oily skin in the wintertime since it is a bit heavier than a gel, but not a lot heavier. It would be perfect for someone with oily skin and I really mean perfect. I have a friend who has oily skin who I recommended this to, and she said it works so well for her.
